Graduated from Oklahoma City University’s College of Law in 2007.
Ms. Smith admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 2007. She worked as a Sole Practitioner in Perry, Oklahoma until December of 2008. Ms. Smith then served as an Assistant District Attorney for Noble County for over three years. As the only Assistant District Attorney in Noble County, she prosecuted all felony and misdemeanor cases. Ms. Smith also handled all juvenile delinquent and juvenile deprived cases, as well as mental health hearings. In 2012, Ms. Smith resigned her position as an A.D.A. to work as a Solo Practitioner with offices in Perry, Ok. and Oklahoma City, Ok.. Ms. Smith uses her vast court room experience as a prosecutor to effectively defend her clients against criminal charges and to litigate important family law issues. Ms. Smith works with families with the important job of estate planning through wills and trusts, including pet trusts! She also helps individuals and families get a fresh start from the heavy burden of consumer debt by filing Bankruptcies. Debbie L. Smith is also an adjunct professor for Southern Nazarene University.
When she is not practicing law, Ms. Smith enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys running with her dog, “Lady Justice”, swimming and biking around Lake Hefner.
